Hiragana Memorization 1
Your Tasks

There will be no romaji (romanized Japanese) help starting next lesson. The sooner you learn hiragana by heart, the faster you can go. Recommended activities:

  1. Make flash cards using note cards. Write each ひらがな on the front of the card, write the reading of it in romaji (romanized Japanese) in the back.
  2. Go over the flash cards three times a day. Don't go over them three times in a row. It is important to put some interval hours between the attempts. We recommend once in the morning, once around noon and once in the evening. Repeat this procedure every day. (If you need additional help, try this memorization tool: Anki (http://ichi2.net/anki/download/).)
