  1. Fill in the blanks on the PFT#1 (Blank Verb Sheet) first.
  2. Confirm the plain forms in the PFT#1 (Answer Sheet).
  3. Practice saying all of the plain forms based on the polite forms (e.g., だします arrow だす) in 3 minutes. If you prefer, you can download the files and try them on your computer.

On the day of the test:

  1. Come to the designated group session, and your turn will be assigned then.
  2. You will be asked to move back to the Lobby area until your turn comes.
  3. During the test (3 minutes), your instructor will show the polite form of each verb through Wimba Classroom. The actual test contains the same verbs in a different order from the ones you have practiced. As soon as you see the slide, say the plain form as quickly as possible. When the time is up, you will be asked to stop. You are allowed to pass any slide by saying "PASS," but you are NOT allowed to go back to the skipped slides.
  4. You may get additional one minute depending on the condition of the connection that day. (Don't count on this. The extra one minute was never needed in the past.)
  5. Your grade will be converted to a percentage score. If you are able to give all correct answers, your score will be 100.
