Vて Form Test

Vて Form Test tests your ability to produce orally the gerund (Vて) forms of verbs.

  1. Fill in the blanks on the Vて Form Verbs (Blank Verb Sheet) first.
  2. Confirm the plain forms in the Vて Form Verbs (Answer Sheet).
  3. Practice saying the Ｖて forms from the plain-nonpast form. (e.g., たべる arrowたべて). If you prefer, you can download the files and try them on your computer. Since the test is done orally, you may want to practice with your classmate.

On the day of the test:

Regular Class Online Class
  1. You need to make an appointment for your time slot.
  2. You can come to the office or call/Skype your instructor to do the test.
  3. Once you start the test, you have two (2) minutes to give your response ORALLY as quickly as possible as follows:
    　　　Instructor: たべる
    　　　You: たべて
  4. When the time is up, you will be asked to stop. You are allowed to pass any question by saying "PASS," but you are NOT allowed to go back to the skipped ones.
  5. Your grade will be converted to a percentage score. If you are able to give all correct answers, your score will be 30 (100%).
  1. Come to the designated group session, and your turn will be assigned then.
  2. You will be asked to move to the breakout room until your turn comes.
  3. Once you start the test, you have two (2) minutes to give your response ORALLY as quickly as possible as follows:
    　　　Instructor: たべる
    　　　You: たべて
  4. When the time is up, you will be asked to stop. You are allowed to pass any slide by saying "PASS," but you are NOT allowed to go back to the skipped slides.
  5. Your grade will be converted to a percentage score. If you are able to give all correct answers, your score will be 30 (100%).
