Established
in
1985, Southeastern Association of Teachers of Japanese (SEATJ)
is a nonprofit professional organization for K-16 teachers
of Japanese mainly in the Southeastern states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia,
and West Virginia. Every spring, SEATJ holds an annual
conference which includes presentations on various topics
such as Japanese linguistics, second language acquisition,
literature, pedagogy and technology. Although SEATJ primarily
represents the southeast region of the US, we welcome participants
from around the nation and abroad. The host institution of
the conference, which rotates each year, publishes conference
proceedings (eletronically or otherwise). |
