highlight of the conference will be a keynote address by
Lecturer Chikako
Shinagawa of the University of
California, Santa Barbara. Ms.
Shinagawa is one of the authors of the well-known textbook,
Genki. She will enlighten us with her presentation, "The
teacher, the taught and the textbook: Finding and adapting
a textbook" for our teaching needs Ms. Shinagawa's
extensive experience of teaching both in Japan and US and
her in-depth knowledge Japanese pedagogy will be of great benefit
to all participants at the conference. In addition, we are
planning to have a session to introduce our newly developed
online programs offered at Georgia Institute of Technology.
